Acceptable Use Policy

What can and cannot be sold or done with Gamecart, what every product must offer buyers, and what happens when a store breaks these rules.

Effective October 4, 2026 · Version 2026-10-04

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Service and applies to every store, account, team member, token and integration on Gamecart. It sets the minimum rules; the law, the games and the platforms your store relates to may impose stricter ones.

2. Prohibited products and content

  • Anything illegal where the seller or the buyers are, including stolen goods, illegal gambling and regulated goods sold without authorization.
  • Loot boxes and other paid products with a random or chance-based reward, such as crate keys, mystery boxes, spins or randomized item packs, in any store whose game or server is directed to, or likely to be accessed by, children or adolescents.
  • Items, currencies or other rewards that buyers can cash out, withdraw or convert back into real money, cryptocurrency or gift cards, and servers that offer cash prizes or play-to-earn rewards. This does not prevent selling items, currencies or ranks for use in your own game or server, subject to the game and platform rules below.
  • Accounts of games or platforms, such as Minecraft or Discord accounts, and login credentials of any service.
  • Cheats, hacks, exploits, DDoS or booter services, and tools to evade bans in games or platforms.
  • Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks or other rights, including pirated software, leaked content, and real-world brands or imitations of them used without authorization.
  • Sexual content or nudity.
  • Content that promotes violence, hatred or harassment against people or groups.
  • Any sexual content involving minors. Such content is reported to the authorities.

3. Product requirements

  • Each product must clearly describe what the buyer receives, including duration, quantity and any condition that applies.
  • Products must be delivered as described. Selling something you do not intend or are unable to deliver is fraud.
  • If purchased items or benefits can be lost in a server reset or wipe, or end when the server closes, the product or your store terms must say so.
  • Donations and pay-what-you-want products are allowed when presented as such, so the buyer knows what, if anything, they receive in return.
  • You may not claim that the money goes to a charity, a cause or another person unless that is true.

4. Prohibited conduct

  • Fraud, money laundering, financing illegal activities or deceiving buyers about what they receive.
  • Misleading advertising, fake scarcity or fake reviews, and pyramid, Ponzi or similar schemes.
  • Using refunds, disputes or chargebacks to defraud buyers, payment providers or Gamecart.
  • Phishing, malware or malicious code, including in themes, pages, emails and commands sent to game servers.
  • Spam, abusive scraping, attempts to bypass plan or technical limits, and attacks on the Service or other stores.
  • Accessing accounts, stores or data you are not authorized to access.
  • Adding advertising trackers, pixels or scripts that profile visitors for advertising to any store likely to be accessed by children or adolescents.

5. Game and platform rules

Sellers must follow the terms, EULAs and commercial usage rules of the games and platforms their stores relate to, such as those published by Mojang for Minecraft, by Cfx.re for FiveM, and by the publisher of Hytale, and the terms and developer policies of Discord when the store grants Discord roles. The seller alone is responsible for this compliance. Gamecart does not review stores in advance, but acts on notices from rights holders and platforms.

6. Reporting a store and intellectual property notices

To report a store that breaks this policy, write to support@gamecart.gg with the store address and a description of the problem. Reports involving harm to children or adolescents are handled first.

A notice that a store infringes your copyright, trademark or other rights should include:

  • your name and contact details, and the right you hold or represent;
  • the address of the store and the specific products or content concerned;
  • why the content infringes your right;
  • a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them.

We may remove or restrict the content and will inform the seller, who can reply with information showing that the use is lawful. Sellers who repeatedly infringe the rights of others may have their account terminated.

7. Enforcement

Depending on the severity and on whether it has happened before, Gamecart may remove content or products, restrict features, suspend a store or terminate an account, and will report conduct to the authorities when the law requires it. Serious violations, such as those involving fraud or harm to children and adolescents, may lead directly to suspension. We notify the seller when it is reasonably possible and lawful to do so.
